Flotsam & Jetsam

We all have ‘em – times during the day when want something to do, but either don’t have anything productive lined up, or just want to wile away the time and do something brain dead for a bit.  My usual fallback (usually when I’m on the phone) is Freecell (73% win rate).  It’s small, fun, taxes your brain a bit, exists on most Windows boxes and you can stop whenever you want and come back later.   Problem is that I got a little bored of it after a while.  So, lately I’ve been searching the net and playing a lot of Flashgames.  I guess you can take the gamer out of the game biz, but you can’t take the games out of the gamer.

I found this game totally by accident a month or 2 ago and I’m totally hooked.  Part Sim City, part Civilization, part World of Warcraft and a little diplomacy and blood and guts thrown in.  There are servers setup all over the world.  It’s free.  Plays in any brower with no install and has a huge world with a good end-game.
